As per information head of the force, Commodore Suleman Dahun, who broke the news in Abuja on Friday, December 20, candidates can search on this website for their names: www.joinnigeriannavy.com, reports from the Nigeria News Agency (NAN).In his address, from Friday, December 27 to Friday, January 10, 2020, Dahun guided candidates to report for an interview at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Navy Town Ojo, Lagos State.

Dahun pointed out that the interview is free and that the candidates should be cautious about scammers who might attempt to fraudulently extract money from them through online means. The spokeswoman for the Navy added that the applicants would arrive at the location with the following documents:

original and photocopies of academic certificates and qualifications, including

  • first school leaving certificates.
  • Birth certificate from a recognized hospital
  • Five (5) credit grades in WASC/GCE/SSCE including Maths, English and 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.
  • ND, NCE, HND Bachelor’s Degree (BSC) minimum of Second Class Honours
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate.
